Transport Block

In UMTS, a Transport Block (TB) refers to the data accepted by the physical layer for joint encoding. The timing of the transport block is precisely aligned with the Layer 1 frame timing, meaning that each transport block is generated exactly every 10ms or at multiples of 10ms.
